The first page of chapter 2 and I just noticed I forgot to fill in some black. Go me! (fixed!)

I've noticed lately that there're a lot of designs that are kind of spinning off from the Avant Garde magazine logo. Its kind of weird, IMO, since that logo was done in the 1960s so.... *shrug*

But sometimes you can't resist the call of Avant Garde. You either hate it or like it. I'm kind of on the fence myself. I'd use it if I ever had a reason to.

So, uhm, I used it on this page for Mark's inner-dialogue.

...But I don't really have a reason.

I never said I was good with typography.

Ah, I guess I didn't explain it well enough. ...Or at all. At the end of the first chapter, we find that Gio is Mark's neighbor and in between then and now Mark ended up being invited to Gio's house. (This takes place on the same day, into the evening now.)

No I got that. Mark got invited to Gio's house, but the fact that he actually went is funny. That's why I asked "How did he end up there?"
